Meisner v. State of Washington et al.
- $5,500,000 Settlement.
- A single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle that lost control due to a construction defect left in the roadway by construction crew, causing the motorcycle to lose control. Subsequently, the plaintiff was hit by a passing automobile. After 65 depositions and 2 years of litigation, the case settled a week prior to trial.
Lara v.
- $4,400,000 inclusive of life of lifetime annuity.
- Auto accident involving a defective seat belt. The plaintiff, a minor, was a passenger in an automobile operated by his parents. The vehicle was involved in a head-on collision, causing traumatic brain injury to the plaintiff.
Salguero v.
- $950,000 plus lifetime annuity for minors in excess of $5 million.
- Products liability case involving a defective part that caused a helicopter to crash onto the plaintiff. The deceased was a Hispanic immigrant who worked as a janitor and was survived by two children and putative spouse.
Odell v. Wooden Boat Foundation
- $1,004,000 Settlement
- Explosion case involving liquid nails. Settled at mediation.
Trissa Conner v. Kelly Ryan, Inc.
- $1,000,000 Settlement
- The defendant, while under the influence of alcohol, lost control of his vehicle, causing said vehicle to collide with the plaintiff. Plaintiff sustained broken knee-requiring surgery & facial lacerations and incurred $20,000 in medical bills.
Rinks v.Bearrs
- $5,500,000 Verdict with Tom Chambers
- A common law alcohol liability case.
Mark Anderson v. City of Seattle
- $1,340,000 Verdict with Tom Chambers
- A case involving a high school pole-vaulter who sustained severe head injuries.
Blake v. Interstate Coatings
- $4,000,000-plus Verdict with Tom Chambers
- A crane construction accident case resulting in leg amputation for the plaintiff.
Reilly v. Roadmaster Corporation, et. al.
- $4,000,000 Settlement
- Obtained for an adult victim of a trampoline accident.
Valle v.
- $750,000 Settlement
- A trucking accident involving a motorcycle wherein the trucker made lane change colliding with the plaintiff, causing severe injuries to the plaintiff’s foot. Work by multiple surgeons required. Disputed liability.
Lictectt v.
- $350,0000 Settlement
- Auto accident involving a head on collision plaintiff sustained multiple fractures to both legs and facial lacerations.
Farlow v.
- $300,000 Award
- Trucking accident involving truck and automobile. Plaintiff, driving the auto, required extensive including surgery, disputed medical and liability.
Maxwell v. Schindler Elevator
- $600,000 Verdict with Tom Chambers
- An elevator maintenance case which resulted in a judgement against the maintenance company and a finding of no negligence against the building owner who settled for $150 thousand prior to trial.
